We started the morning with a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday, as is our custom on birthday mornings to awaken the birthday person, and breakfast with presents in our toilet paper streamer festooned dining room.
After breakfast, the kids got to go to the Kids Club for the whole day, where they had an amazing time making piggy banks, kites, postcards, playing games and watching movies.Our maid, Guadelupe, left us a sweet good-bye note on the dining room table, held up by our dish towels folded as swans... :-)
After a day at the pool relaxing, swimming and reading for us adults, and Kids' Club for the kids, we went out to celebrate Ella's birthday with our final dinner in Cabo.
We enjoyed a delicious dinner and time together- it's so nice to relax over meals - our dinners typically lasted two hours or more. It's such a nice experience to enjoy the time together and our food, somehow, we don't seem to have the time for that most nights here at home! Of course, the lazier evenings of summer allow for that more, and I really enjoy those nights!Dessert for Ella was a special piece of cake presented by the wait staff singing "Happy Birthday," served with a chocolate sentiment....
After dinner, we went up to the sky pool for one last swim as the sun set gloriously...
