We're home

We're home, we made it safely, we're tired, we're going to bed. :-)

Thank you, Chris, for house sitting for us and picking us and our mounds of stuff up at the airport! We were greeted with a wonderful BBQ dinner in our backyard and red, white and blue "Welcome to the USA" signs on our garage door by our dear neighbors. A gorgeous sunny evening relaxing in our own backyard watching the kids run and play was a delightful way to end a very long day. Thank you, friends! :-

We look forward to catching up with many of you soon- we're here for the weekend to work and pack again, then off to Mexico early Monday morning!

By the way, today was a special day for another reason, too- on this very day six years ago- July 2, 2003, Max boarded a plane in Guatemala City and flew to the USA with us! Max became a US Citizen when he came through immigration that day. Happy 6 years as a US Citizen, Max!

Happy Birthday to Molly, too! Ella's counting down the days until she can join you at 5! :-)
