Here are a few of our highlights from the last couple of days.
Hanging out in the rockers while waiting for our shuttle downtown:

Max performs a few awesome jumps:

The kids joined the Kids' Club for a few hours in the afternoon and made kites and these cool crowns:

Uncle Scott and Aunt Amy:

Grandpa Bob and Alex share a laugh at dinner:

Heather and Princess Ella- whose birthday is TOMORROW!!!! Happy Birthday, sweet girl!

Kyler:

All the kids on the bridge:

Our rooms are so amazing... in addition to the hot tub on the expansive deck of our room, we also have a jacuzzi tub in the master bath... a very pleasant way to end the day...

Alex is loving trying out new dives and jumps. This was the fall-face-first-into-the-water-and-don't-put-your-hands-out-to-break-your-fall (as if that really helps in the water anyway!)

The kids have been learning to do back flips and other such fun things this week, too, complements of Dad:
All the kids hanging over the edge of the sky pool:

Our maid folds our towels a new way each day. I think she was feeling very kindly toward us today as I tipped her very well this morning for the last several days, only to discover later that Aaron had also done the same thing! :-) I'm sure we made her day!

Ella's birthday is tomorrow, and while we came prepared in many ways, we're minus a few of the articles that we usually use for birthdays- namely the banners, crepe paper and other decorations. Creativity is highly valued in our family, and you use what you have. Confetti from the little gift shop (spendy) and toilet paper (much better value) make the perfect setting for a birthday breakfast!

Tomorrow the kids are looking forward to a full day at the Kids' Club and then we'll celebrate our last night in Mexico and Ella's birthday with dinner. It's been a wonderful, relaxing time! Really, when the biggest things I have to blog about are whether we got the lounge chairs close to where the kids are swimming and with adequate shade for those of us that want it... it's not too stressful here. :-) It's been great to sleep in, sit by the pool (or in it- yes, I do swim, just not with my camera!), read a few books, and watch the kids have a blast and improve in their swimming skills!
