My friend, Lisa, was walking Alex and Ella to school yesterday afternoon with her two boys. Along the way, part of the conversation went like this:
One boy: I smell barbecue!
Pause
Ella (age 5): I quit smoking.
Lisa: Oh, really? Had you been smoking long?
Ella: No. I never started. I just decided to quit.
