A close to a great day

All those swimming lessons paid off. We actually had a peaceful time at the pool. The kids figured out ways to stay afloat.

It was a busy day FULL of emotion and after a good time in the pool and some rest time in the room we went out to McXperience the neighborhood restaurant. We even splurged and went beyond the Bauer Family traditional order of 5 cheeseburgers, 1 hamburger no pickle/onion for the kids. We bought 6 Cajitas Felices which are "happy little boxes" for those of you in more English speaking places. They sat on low bar stools in front of a glass encased 8.36 sq meter :-) train set and were amazed each time the train went by. The kids enjoyed the entire PlayPlace and love their new toys from the movie "Una Noche En El Museo 2".

Some of the kids are sleeping, which is nice and Heather and I are really tired. We do get to sleep more tonight before our Guatemala City tour tomorrow. We are assured that Felix understands kids and will take us on a great tour of the city. And yes, Beth, we will even get out of the vehicle every once in a while to go into places. Buenas Noches y Que Dios les bendiga a ustedes.
