The tons of donations are packed!

Wow! We have been overwhelmed with donations to take with us to Guatemala for Hannah's Hope (the orphanage) and Project San Miguel (the child sponsorship project). We now have 7 full and heavy totes packed exclusively full of donations, and 9 other bags each about half full of donations or gifts (plus two booster seats hidden in there!). Aaron and I did the test last night to see if we can actually fit all of this in our van along with 9 people, and we can do it! The ultimate packing test! All we have left to add are two more car seats, and those will be under kids on the way to the airport... :-)

Heather spent Saturday treating all our clothes for our trip to Tikal with insect repellent to keep those malaria carrying mosquitoes away when we're in the rain forest. Although I was careful, I still think no mosquito will come near me for quite some time!

One of Ella's preschool teachers gave her a gift card to buy donations for her friends in Guatemala. We had lots of fun shopping for art supplies and puzzles for Project San Miguel! Can you believe we got all those boxes of 24 Crayola crayons for only 30 cents each? They were just marking them down as we got there... pretty sweet!

The pile of luggage... all packed and ready to go. ONLY 4 DAYS!!!!!!
